Notar Södermalm
Being asked to photograph an architect’s apartment was a special opportunity, and I felt honoured to be chosen. The resident and I had been in touch a few days before the shoot to prepare. With some preview photos of the apartment and images from when they bought it, I had an idea of what to expect. Still, I was amazed by the architectural transformations over the years. The walls had been rearranged significantly, and the homeowner, who is also the architect, enthusiastically gave me a tour.
I especially loved the blue vases lined up on the windowsill by the dining table. A standout piece was a head-shaped vase/candlestick holder designed by the Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad. I love changing up my own windowsill decor with the seasons, but sometimes it’s tricky to get the combinations just right. These colourful accents are perfect for adding a little flair to any room.
