I hope it’s not just me, but I enjoy these kind of things so much. This apartment I photographed in 2021 and now in 2023 again for the same broker, but with new residents in the meantime. To see what they did with the apartment and how they both styled it, I think is fascinating. There are no huge renovations done in these two years, but definitely some changes. Besides checking out the interior, it’s also kind of fun to see how my photography style has changed over the years. Let me know which year you prefer.
2021
When I started working in Stockholm, I teamed up with the agency Husfoto. During my period with them, my photos were in general very white. I sometimes got the feedback that they almost looked whitewashed. Not something I was happy with and I’ve been trying a lot to improve my editing to get a more natural and warm photo style.
2023
After a year of working for the agency Florbrant Svanberg, I started to only work under my own name in the summer of 2023. As long as I am working in Stockholm SkandiaMäklarna is one of my clients and I was asked back to photograph the same apartment as two years ago again. It makes me really happy to see what these years have done with my work and how I have developed myself as a photographer.
The kitchen
Bedroom number one
When I visited, I was surprised to find that they had switched the guest room with the master bedroom. It’s the same room, as the view hasn’t changed. The photos from 2023 show that they added a closet next to the window.
The dining room
The living room
I really love the style in the second photoshoot. The main colours are very natural, but there are some bright pops of colour too. It feels like the interior has grown and come alive over the years with books, furniture, souvenirs, and art. This makes the home full of character and personality.
