It's been on my to do list for a while to visit this store that was recommended to me several times. I actually have been passing it already, but never had the time to go in and have a look. Yesterday I finally did and I already regret that I never went before. On Instagram I saw their post that they were soon going to close for a huge renovation and had everything on sale for a couple of days. During the weekend the weather was pretty good and we were in the mood for a walk. With this Instagram post in mind we went to Södermalm to visit the store. There was literally a queue to get inside.

Once inside I totally get this store is on many lists of favorite interior stores in Stockholm and a favorite of many. So if you are ever in Stockholm, I definitely recommend to drop by and get inspired. The interior will probably be completely changed when they are opening on 28/01/23 again, but you entered into this kitchen setting with a big table. It really feels like entering someones home with all decorated corners and tableware everywhere. Personally I really liked the plate reck on the wall to show your beautiful collection of plates.

From the first room with the big dining table you walk through a corridor with a small room for bathroom items like towels and soap. In the end you will find the living room with many nice things like posters and candles. When I was there yesterday it didn't looked as nice as it is on the photos anymore. This room was packed with chairs that were for sale with great discounts. Nevertheless it was still pretty clear that it normally looks beautiful.

From stores like this, you never easily walk away empty handed. So neither did we. This cute bowl was with 70% discount and we took two of them home. Nowadays we have more and more dinners at our place and it's kind of our dream to have a big collection of plates. The goal is to have different sets and glasses for eight persons, but these kind of bowls can easily be collected in smaller amounts to serve for example olives. I really like to mix it up a little bit with different styles of plates, but when it comes to a fancy dish I prefer to give everyone the same plate. for the true restaurant feeling. The designer of this bowl is Nicola Fasano from Puglia in Italy and they have many more beautiful items in their collection.

It's not that I am already looking forward to Christmas again, it has not even been a month ago. Still I would like to share these photos from Tambur the store as well. For every season they are worth visiting or just follow them on Instagram to get inspired all the time. These photos with Christmas table settings looks really amazing.

If you just got as inspired as I am, have a look at their webshop (they deliver in Europe). Or start following them on Instagram. If you're in Stockholm and in for a walk to Södermalm you have to make sure to find this store at Folkungagatan 85. When they are open again in the end of January I will definitely come back to see what they did. From now on it is part of my interior route through the city.
