Each season I find new pillows for my interior. Some changes on the sofa or perhaps a different look on your bed. Somehow I love to suit my interior a bit to the season. During the winter it can be cosier with warmer colours and at this time of the year, I welcome a bit of colour and happy prints. Recently I discovered some new brands for pillows and I made a list with a selection of pillows that makes me even more ready for summer.

This beauty came into my mailbox in a newsletter and is from the Dutch brand: Sissy-Boy. They have been changing their style lately and I am a big fan of their collection. It's a good address for both, interior and fashion. When I was studying, quite a few years back, I've been working at their store in The Hague.

To me this pillow is typical Sissy-Boy and with different colours you will find patterns like this all year round. They often work with happy prints and colours. Personally, I would not go all in with all their items, but you certainly can find great stuff to spice up your interior with. Last time I was in the Netherlands I quickly went by their store to stroll around and find some inspiration.

Within a list of happy prints this Swedish brand cannot be missing, Svenskt Tenn. To own something from their collection was a wish for a very long time. Now it's becoming a dangerous addiction to check their new collection. This pillow is an absolute yes for the perfect summer feeling if you ask me.

Not too much of a print, but it still gives you a hint of summer because of its colours. Depending on the combination you can easily style it all year round.

No summer feeling without the sea. It might be one of the things I miss the most about living in the Netherlands. The fact that wherever you are, you're always close to the beach. With this pillow, you can bring that feeling a bit home.

Besides the fact that their pillows look amazing, I also love to support this Dutch brand named Palais. They are becoming bigger and bigger and I totally understand why. Their collection is super nice and original. You need to like colours and prints, but again some of these items might create the perfect balance in a naturally styled interior. Or they even add some more life to a colourful space.

Palais is going for that little extra. You can find pillows with two different sides and select different borders. Their designs are sustainable and they work with traditional craftsmanship.
